This kitchen had a structure in the middle that served as a pantry and dry bar. However, it impeded the flow of the kitchen causing it to also feel dark and cramped. The bathroom and closet doors, when open, blocked the only walkway into the living room.
We turned the closet into the pantry which allowed us to remove that structure in the middle and install a beautiful island perfect for cooking and entertaining. Removed the builder-grade tile and replaced it with a textured dark wood-look tile. The barn doors added to the flow of the space by clearing the walkway. We brighten up the kitchen with this beautiful buttery yellow throughout. Tied everything all together with a travertine stone backsplash and completed the look with carefully curated barstools that fit the style perfectly.
